In an ideal world, your centre sits perfectly between left and right.
However, it is highly unlikely for most of us that our centre sits in the middle (??? ?? ??? ?? ????????).
Your movements will always be dictated by your brain ? and bodies ????????? ??????.
How much pressure you put through each foot ??can give you a great insight into where your ????????? ?????? is.
As an example, you can see from the image there is more pressure through the footprint ? on the right (deeper imprint).
This suggests that the person who owns these footprints bears more weight over the right foot causing a chain reaction through the body as it compensates accordingly to work itself around this perceived centre ie pelvis shifted or hiked to one side, one shoulder higher than the other, etc.
So why does this happen?

The biggest missing ingredient from rehab programs that I see, is in the understanding of your centre of mass and how we should distribute it in different movements.
I often see clients who’ve been given a lot of good exercises but have no awareness of how their body should shift it’s weight or where to when they stand on one leg.
They end up doing the correct exercises incorrectly through no fault of their own.
